10 June Ken Davis 10 june was another CI mission, but also a day where scattered cumulus developed, eventually leading to storms in the panhandle (dryline, focus of the CI mission?) and *many* storms just east of Oklahoma in Arkansas and Missouri, where the Cu field has been thicker of the past 2 days. Both 9 and 10 June the Cu development was heavier as you moved east, perhaps reflecting the surface energy balance gradient favoring latent heat flux in the east. Some mesoscale modulation of the Cu field could be seen in the satellite images.
